My Menopause Moment in India

Note the “healthy sheen” I have in this pic. Ummm hmmm. This week I had some serious menopause synchronicity. Synchronicity was first introduced by Carl Jung “to describe circumstances that appear meaningfully related yet lack causal connection” . I had a menopause illnessdoula consult, a friend had a hormone question then,BAM NYTs magazine reinforced women fee alone in the sea of menopause.

I am a gynecologist who survive practicing and managing menopause through the WHI. I get it, I live it. There is a lot to celebrate about not bleeding from your uterus every month and some things to manage. You don’t need to just shrivel up and bear it. You are not alone in a sea of menopause
