I got my 1st Pfizer dose on Monday and my cell phone reception is no better! My arm was sore starting about 4 hours after the shot and lasting about 16 hours. I slept through most of that.

Vaccines take about two weeks to work. Pfizer and Modern use messenger RNA, or mRNA, which, once injected, enters human cells and instructs them to manufacture a coronavirus protein called spike. The spike protien is what COVID uses to attach to cells. None of these components are infectious or capable of causing Covid-19. They allow the body to recognize the spike protien on true virus and destroy the whole virus, should it ever come around.

You can not get “sick” from receiving vaccine

The production of spike is thought to occur within hours of the first shot. But the body needs at least several days to make the memory before it can work against the virus.

People have said they are afraid because this came to market so quickly. Fear is useful but, knowledge is power. If you understand what is in the vaccine there isn’t a molecule there to fear. Here is what is in this vaccine:

THAT’S ALL. OK I”ll admit I have fear of fat, cholesterol, sugar (I think i may be addicted) and salt but, this is 0.3cc. My skinny jeans will still fit. Please be more afraid of getting COVID 19 and it’s long tern effects.

So tonight I’m going to open the door at midnight to let 2020 out and welcome 2021 but I will still have my mask on!
