Ugh I Was Exposed to CoVid!

Seattle is still in phase 1.5 and we have masked up, social distanced and washed our hands a plenty. But, on Monday, out of nowhere i was the recipient of a goodbye hug. Caught by surprise my first nonmarital hug in 5 months, it was met with nervous laughter. That night my friend, the hugger, got seriously sick, presumed CoVid infection. Begin the spiral….she is still ill has a negative test as do I. I am getting another test today. It will be 5 days from the exposure and long enough for me to convert. COMPLACENCY?!?!

Here are some antiviral remedies (some I’ve been doing all long, some are too much work ;))

Sleep

Give your body the dedicated time it needs to scrub your cells, perform some autophagy. https://www.sleepfoundation.org/articles/sleep-deprivation-effect-immune-system-mirrors-physical-stress

Stress reduction

Intermittent fasting

Constant grazing means your gut is constantly working on digestion. It also needs to rest and repair. 12 hours off, at least. I shoot for 16 especially since I’ve been exposed.

Fluids

Dilution is the solution to pollution. Ironically, not always true, but it helps to move things through.

Elderberry syrup

The berries and flowers of elderberry are packed with antioxidants and vitamins that may boost your immune system. They can help tame inflammation, lessen stress, and help protect your heart, too. Some experts recommend elderberry to help prevent and ease cold and flu symptoms

Sure these things seem like, duh, but when I’m grounded (again) for being foolish, it is good to have concrete task to achieve.

Sleep 8 hours every night, meditate every day, eat on a schedule, stay hydrated, bee grateful.

I take my last test to today, if it is negative I am most likely in the clear. The city of Seattle has easy drive through testing at the previous emission testing sites. It does feel like they are scratching your brain.

Thanks for listening. If you have any questions about this stuff or want some more ideas, I’m here.
